Privacy, in plain English.
Row & Behold is operated by Jonny Bottomley in the UK. This notice explains what information is used, why it is needed and how to ask us to stop.
Information we may use
- Details you submit through the assessment form or send by email.
- Files and instructions supplied for an agreed project.
- Limited business-contact information, such as a name, work role, company and work email address, where a service appears genuinely relevant.
- Basic correspondence, project scope, invoices and suppression records.
- Cookieless, first-party counts of service-page visits and assessment-form starts. These records do not include names, email addresses or cross-site advertising identifiers.
Site measurement
We use limited first-party measurement to understand whether people reach the service page and start or submit an assessment. It does not use advertising cookies or follow you across other websites. Aggregate event records are normally deleted after 90 days.
Why we use it
Information is used to answer enquiries, assess and deliver requested work, maintain accurate business records, protect the service and send limited, relevant business-to-business introductions.
For personalised B2B outreach, the intended lawful basis is legitimate interests. We only contact corporate business recipients where the offer appears relevant, use the minimum information needed and balance our interest in introducing the service against the recipient’s reasonable expectations and privacy rights.
Where business-contact details come from
Prospect details may come from the organisation’s own website, Companies House, professional profiles or another clearly public business source. We do not buy consumer lists or collect sensitive personal information for outreach.
How long information is kept
Files supplied for enquiries that do not become paid work are normally deleted within 30 days. Project source files, working files and deliverables are normally deleted within 30 days after delivery. Project and financial records may be retained where required for contractual, tax or legal purposes. Unresponsive prospect records are normally removed after 12 months, while a minimal suppression record may be retained for longer so that an opt-out is honoured.
Sharing and automated decisions
Information is not sold. Assessment-form details are passed through a form-delivery provider so the enquiry and service updates can be delivered. Uploaded files are stored privately with the site’s hosting provider, are not publicly listable and are not used to train AI models. Payment status is supplied by Stripe. Standard package recommendations and routine file-processing steps may be automated, but ambiguous records, non-standard scopes and final delivery remain subject to human review. Row & Behold does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using automated processing.
